Wentworth Jarrett, MD, is a board-certified family physician offering personalized, holistic care to Floridians at Dr. Jarrett’s Wellness Center in Miami, Florida. For over 20 years, Dr. Jarrett has promoted health among families and individuals in South Florida.
Dr. Jarrett was born and grew up in Kingston, Jamaica, where his incredible background in the medical field began. He earned his doctorate from the University of the West Indies School of Medicine in Kingston, Jamaica. He then completed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, where he has practiced ever since.
Among peers and colleagues, Dr. Jarrett stands out with many top positions and memberships. He is affiliated with Dade County Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Outside of his work at Dr. Jarrett’s Wellness Center, Dr. Jarrett holds three hospital affiliations in the area. He compassionately listens to his patients’ needs and meets them to the greatest extent possible. Among numerous other services, he provides comprehensive medical exams, and diabetic education and counseling.
Dr. Jarrett is happily married and enjoys spending his free time with his spouse and two sons.
